Once it is on you can move the headlight switch to off and the headlights turn off. The position lights will remain on, but the main headlights should turn off. WebJun 13, 2002 · The rest of your lights will be on a fuse in the fuse box. IE: The fusible link goes, the rest of the lights will work, but the head lights won't. Check the fusible links attached to the battery cable side of the starter solenoid. The headlight switch has it's own circuit breaker for the head lights.
