WebThe purpose of the review is to consolidate the reported risk of cardiotoxicity in patients treated with cisplatin based chemotherapy. Cisplatin can induce direct myocardial toxicity leading to atrial fibrillation whereas the potential of myocardial toxicity is amplified when the drug is administered in combination with other cardiotoxic agents.
